Brrr!!! It’s a frigid 21 degrees in my neck of the woods today. I ventured outdoors for my weekly Saturday breakfast date with my husband, ran an errand on the way home, and have been sitting comfortably in the warmth of my home since.

I am thankful for the warmth of my home. It’s my refuge from the arctic chill that’s fallen upon us after a very mild winter. Yet, another blessing for which I am grateful to Him for providing.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for providing my family with a warm place to escape the bitterly cold air that’s on the other side of these four walls that we call home. I pray that those who are less fortunate are able to find shelter. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
